Julia Waugh is best known for curating the world's first internet exhibition sampled called "Shot', featuring 5 autoportraits by self proclaimed female artists.
Working with photography as well as painting to explore ideas of self understanding and identity, often exploring the human and other bodies and their many incarnations.

As a photographer, painter and currently co-director of Waugh Office, Julia Waugh initiated this hybrid art's organisation that curates exhibitions and events that challenge the boundaries of traditional institutions.
